We accept all students, who are qualified as per criteria placed by ACCA. However in the context of English we expect student’s to have a reasonable ability in speaking and writing. Since all classes would be conducted in English student’s lacking proficiency in English languages are recommended to do the BEC offered by LCBS.

Once you have been offered admission and received offer letter you should immediately apply for your visa. The Embassy or High Commission will be able to tell you the average turnaround time for a visa application. In some countries this can be anything up to three months.

As part of the application process you will be required to attend an interview with a Visa Officer. The documents that you will need to produce at the visa interview are listed below :

• A copy of your application form to LCBS DHAKA. (If you did not keep a copy, LCBS Dhaka Admissions Office can fax or mail a duplicate copy to you)
• The offer letter from LCBS DHAKA confirming that you have been accepted to study a full-time course
• Valid Passport
• Documentary evidence of your ability to cover the costs of your stay (for example, accommodation costs, tuition fees and maintenance including food, clothing and transportation)

• Evidence of your intention to return to your home country once you have completed your studies. Documentary evidence is preferred
• You should also be prepared to talk about why you wish to study at LCBS Dhaka and why you have chosen your particular course(s). You will need to convince the Visa Officer that you do not intend to work full-time during your stay in Bangladesh

**You must satisfy the Visa Officer on all of the above points

An international student requiring a visa extension during his/her stay at LCBS Dhaka should submit their passport to the College admin 60 days prior to their VISA EXPIRY DATE. LCBS Dhaka will apply for visa extension on the student’s behalf. All documentation is then prepared by LCBS Dhaka and all correspondence with the Citizen and Immigration Bangladesh is conducted by LCBS. Student’s need to submit the following documents :

• Copy of Study Permit
• Bank Letter
• Filled Visa Application Form

LCBS Dhaka does not share information about students unless the student has signed a waiver with a Government Agency or Corporation/Sponsor or has made a specific request in writing granting permission for the school to disclose information to a sponsor or parent/guardian. Refunds are calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy for those students, who officially drop the program or classes during the first two weeks of the Program Start Date (PSD)

We offer this service for international student’s at a minimum cost that do not have other alternatives.

We encourage students to make the most of their leisure time in experiencing the natural beauty of Bangladesh such as Cox Bazaar (the longest sea beach in the world), Sundorban (the biggest mangrove forest in the world) etc. We know from experience that cultural and social activities contribute greatly to a student’s success. A variety of activities are arranged throughout the year. Subject teachers and Heads of Departments organize educational trips to renowned places which can contribute to the development of the student. The College also holds staff/student parties and organizes cultural events that reflect the variety of nationalities represented in the student population.

LCBS encourages social and cultural activities of student. We have movie club, debating club, cultural club, Language club, Photography club, and sport’s club etc to encourage student excel in other fields as well as education.

We are aware that student might need guidance on other issues apart from education or may have difficulty in coping with environment because of stress or other circumstances. We have an active team devoted to eradicate such problem and co-operate in all aspect to make the learning experience way better.

LCBS Dhaka can arrange, on request, student accommodation based on the requirement and personal preference of the student. In Bangladesh all sort’s of accommodation facilities are available ranging from $200- 300.

In order for accommodation to be arranged by LCBS Dhaka, students must advise the College at least six weeks prior to when accommodation is required. LCBS Dhaka charges a non-refundable service fee of $100 to arrange for the first month's accommodation.
